We (the insurance brokerage firm) are committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal data collected from customers and website users. Cookies do not by themselves identify you but link your computer or device to information we store about you. • Marketing (with consent): contacting you with information about related insurance products, special offers, or value-added services, and engaging in market research or analytics. As one example, our policy states we may share information “with authorized agents or third-party service providers… for providing information about products/services”. You have the right to opt out of marketing communications at any time.

• Third-party service facilitation: sharing data with insurers, reinsurers, claims administrators, health providers, regulatory bodies (IRDAI, tax authorities, law enforcement, etc.), financial institutions (credit bureaus, banks for loan processing), or other authorized service providers as needed to deliver our services. We may also share information with our affiliates or group companies for legitimate internal business purposes. Importantly, we do not sell your personal information to unaffiliated third parties for marketing. As our privacy practice emphasizes, “Your Personal information will not be sold or otherwise transferred to unaffiliated third parties”.

• Fraud prevention and legal compliance: detecting and preventing fraud or unlawful activity (e.g. credit checks, identity verification, or background checks) and complying with legal or regulatory requirements (responding to subpoenas, court orders, or regulator inquiries). We will disclose data to authorities as required by law or in “good faith belief” that disclosure is necessary.

You may also withdraw consent or opt out of certain uses (such as marketing) at any time. Note that if you withdraw consent for necessary data (e.g. for policy servicing), we may no longer be able to provide related services to you. We encourage you to keep your information up-to-date; for example, as one policy states, you should review and correct any “inaccurate or deficient” personal data with us. We will comply with any valid requests you make under applicable law to access, correct, or delete your data, subject to any legal exceptions.
